About Touge - The biggest JDM product library in the world
Touge Distribution came from humble beginnings; founded in 2006 by two friends. They had an obsession with cars, in particular a passion for Japanese cars.
After playing Gran Turismo since its first installament they had a dream of bringing almost every part made in Japan to the world market through a simple website interface. Work began on developing an
e-commerce platform as a bit of a hobby and a challenge.. Little did they know that 3 years on a monster site would have been created..
With so many "rigid" e-commerce solutions available Touge took a standard installation and 36 months on, the Touge be-spoke platform is complete!
A number of major changes have been made to allow the website to grow painlessly. Touge is proud of its in-house development. This keeps costs to a minimum and
complete creative control.
In February 2009 a long standing friend James Turbett joined the UK team taking charge of customer services and
looking at ways of keeping the new site (one site to own them all) at the top of the game in terms of service and speed. We've all been consumers for years (some of us for over 10!) and
we know the frustrations of wanting parts shipped quickly and efficiently without paying crazy prices. This our philosophy and promise, to bring you the very best
parts at the best prices we can. Some items you see listed on Touge are considerably cheaper than walking into an Autobacs store and buying them here in Japan!
Our team has over 60 years joint ownership experience with JDM vehicles cars including various Lan-Evo's, FD3S, R34 GTR, NSX, SW20 MR2, S2000 and Civic/Integra Type R.
The level of knowledge and experience is high, the passion even higher.
We have hand picked and vetted all agents with experience in simple driving pleasure upgrades, high level tuning, drifting and drag racing Japanese
vehicles. We are still keen to grow our agents portfolio to spread the Touge brand and reputation into a global force.
With our logistical hub located in Yokohama, Japan we source from over 300 brands and agencies throughout Japan. This is vital to our operations
as it allows us to buy the products in cheaply and efficiently and ship from the source. No double and tripple shipping with numerous companies handling the goods with their
own financial gain to be made. Touge is in a great position to source parts far faster than the competition in your country. Each broker/agent has access to all orders pending, completed, shipped so that "personal" touch is added to our service with SMS updates (where possible), IM support and of course, through forums.
