Sard compete in various forms of motorsport including Japan’s Super GT racing series and develops tuning parts for various JDM vehicles. Sard was initially formed in 1972 as Sigma Automotive Co. Ltd to develop and produce tuning parts and accessories along with operating a racing team. Sigma Automotive became SARD in 1985 and re-debuted into professional motorsport with a Toyota backed team.
